                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                   AMENDMENT NO. 2 (FINAL) TO AN AGREEMENT WITH
                   DOWNS ENGINEERING, INC., RELATIVE TO
                   ADDITIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES ON CONTRACT
                   77 AND 76A, DAYTONA HEIGHTS COLLECTION
                   SYSTEM, FOR A CONSIDERATION OF TWENTY-EIGHT
                   THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($28,000.00) FOR
                   A TOTAL PROPOSED COST NOT TO EXCEED ONE
                   HUNDRED SIXTY-FOUR THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED
                   SEVENTY-ONE AND NO/100 DOLLARS

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Amendment No. 2 (Final) to an Agreement with Downs
       Engineering, Inc., relative to additional engineering services on 

       Contract 77 and 76A, Daytona Heights Collection System, for a
       consideration of $28,000.00 for a total proposed cost not to
       exceed $164,171.00.
